Learn as You Earn with a Corvant Apprenticeship
Corvant’s apprenticeship program is built on a simple belief: the best tradespeople are developed through real work, real mentorship and a structured path forward. If you’re motivated to master a trade and build a lasting career in plumbing or mechanical contracting, Corvant’s program will give you the tools, the training, and the support to do it — starting on day one.
What You’ll Get From an Apprenticeship
A Paid Job — and an Education
From your first day, you’re a paid Corvant employee — earning a competitive wage, building hands-on skills and advancing your career without taking on student debt. When you complete our program, you’ll hold an industry-recognized credential and carry the kind of field experience that opens doors.
Four Trades to Choose From
Our apprenticeship program covers four trades: HVACR, plumbing, pipefitting and sheet metal fabrication. Whether you’re starting your career or looking to deepen your expertise, there’s a path for you.
Bonuses at Every Level
Corvant rewards progress. Apprentices earn completion bonuses at each of the four levels — putting more money in your pocket as you advance. When you pass your Journeyman exam, Corvant reimburses all application, testing and apprenticeship licensing fees.
A Clear Path Forward
From your first day to your Journeyman credential, every step is mapped out. Four trade skill levels deepen your knowledge and sharpen your hands-on skills — and once you’ve completed all four levels and 8,000 hours in the field, you’re eligible to sit for the Journeyman Exam.
Built-in Mentors
Our field leaders are invested in your development. Apprentices work side-by-side with experienced tradespeople who offer hands-on knowledge and a real commitment to mentoring the next generation.
Accredited Professional Development
A Corvant apprenticeship is a paid program combining on-the-job training with structured coursework. You’ll complete a curriculum covering the fundamentals of construction — safety, tools, drawings and more — before moving into your trade-specific track. Coursework is online and self-paced, and hands-on skills assessments with your field supervisor demonstrate that you can put the ideas you’ve learned to work. You must pass both the coursework and assessments to advance to the next level, with Corvant’s field leaders supporting you every step of the way.

Your Career Path
Completing the apprenticeship is the foundation — not the finish line. Corvant apprentices who complete the program and pass their Journeyman exam are certified in their trade and ready for the next step in their career. From there, professional paths can lead to field superintendent, project superintendent or project management roles. Many of the leaders at Corvant today began exactly where you are now.

I started in high school and worked my way from apprentice to project manager. The apprenticeship gave me the skills and credentials to build a career I’m proud of.
– Leadman to Project Manager
Four years of working alongside the best in the trade shaped everything about how I work. Today I’m a foreman, and now I’m giving back as a mentor.
– Sheet Metal Apprentice to Superintendent
I earned my Journeyman’s license, learned CAD, and became an assistant project manager. This program opened doors I didn’t know existed while teaching me the trade.
– Plumbing Apprentice to Assistant Project Manager
I enrolled as an entry-level helper and became a plumbing superintendent in just five years. Hard work along with the right program make all the difference.
– Plumbing Helper to Plumbing Superintendent
I started working nights in the shop while still in high school. The apprenticeship opened doors to design and preconstruction work I never expected to find.
– Sheet Metal Apprentice to Sheet Metal Journeyman
The apprenticeship pushed me to show up, work hard and keep going. Today I’m a foreman with a Journeyman’s license and have a career I built from the ground up.
